Welcome!

Hi, I’m Becky Sue Harwood.

My debut novel, One Last Summer, was released on October 18th, 2025!

A story of faith and relationships, One Last Summer shows how one family faces an Alzheimer’s diagnosis with hope, strength, and love.

As I embark on this new writing adventure with Elk Lake Publishing Inc., I’d love for you to share this exciting experience with me!

About Me

Hi! I’m Becky Sue. In 2016, after a decade and a half as both a pastor and hospice/eldercare worker, I transitioned to providing childcare for our youngest grandchildren, freelance speaking, and writing. I love writing to encourage people, to explore faith, and to celebrate our journey to our best selves. When I’m not spending time with my wonderful husband and family, I’m chasing the chickens around the yard, gardening in the greenhouse, or trying (and mostly failing) to train an anxious chihuahua named Reggie.
